About me
Although, every aspect of Computer Science that I have come across seems fascinating since the beginning of my studies I had a peculiar interest for the hardware sector which I find enthralling! As far as I remember myself, I was never satisfied by just looking or using a piece of software that works without knowing how and why it works. How come some wires and chips are capable of doing that ? The hardware area of computer science had all the answers there! My bachelor thesis was about “Design and Implementation of a single-core RISC-V CPU (ISA: RV32I)” , supervised by Aristides Efthymiou
I have been a laboratory assistant/instructor on various courses at VCAS lab such as:
- ΜΥΥ-203: “Basic Circuit Design” ( supervisor: Chrysovalantis Kavousianos )
- ΜΥΥ-305: “Digital Circuit Design I” ( supervisor: Chrysovalantis Kavousianos )
- ΜΥΥ-406: “Digital Circuit Design II” ( supervisor: Chrysovalantis Kavousianos )
- ΜΥΥ-404: “Electronics” ( supervisor: Georgios Tsiatouhas )
I am interested in:
- Computer/System Architecture and Micro-architecture
- Design and Testing of Integrated Systems and Circuits
- Security and Reliability of Integrated Systems and Circuits
- 3D Technology
