Postdoctoral Researcher
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Helen-Maria Dounavi obtained the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 2010. In 2013 she received the M.Sc. degree in Technologies-Hardware from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Ioannina, with a diploma thesis entitled: “Fault Diagnosis in Scan Chains”. She also received a Ph.D. degree from the same Department in 2020, within which she was awarded a scholarship by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (EL.ID.EK.), for the elaboration of the work: “Self-Healing Integrated Circuits/Systems in Semiconductor Nanometer Technologies”.
In 2019 she was accepted as an Academic Fellow in the University of Ioannina and since then she has been working as an adjunct lecturer in the field of Computer Science.
From 2021 she started working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of the same University on the research field of reliability testing of integrated circuits/systems, receiving a scholarship under the action “Support for Regional Excellence”.
She has dealt extensively, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level with topics such as testing and design for testability, reliability and the development of self-healing solutions for nanometer integrated circuits/systems. She has excellent knowledge of integrated circuit design and simulation tools. Her work includes publications in internationally recognized scientific journals as well as in prestigious international conferences.
