Biography
Yiorgos Sfikas received the B.S. degree in physics in 1998, the B.S. degree in computer science in 2006, the M.S. degree in 2009 in computer science and the Ph.D. degree in 2015 in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, all from the University of Ioannina, Greece. He was with the Epirus Institute of Technology as a visiting professor from 2001 to 2009. From 2009 to 2019 he worked as a second grade school teacher on computer science. Since 2019 he is working as laboratory teaching staff in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Greece. His research interests include visible light communications, logic and memory integrated circuit design and design for testability and low power design. In 2009 he received the best paper award of the IEEE International Symposium on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits and Systems (DDECS).
